Your Bio

Troop 451 is based out of Lewisville, TX and is part of the Tonkawa District in the Longhorn Council, BSA.

We are chartered by the Knights of Columbus Council 9884 but meet at Grace Baptist Church in Flower Mound.

Meetings are held Monday nights at 7:00 PM at Grace Baptist Church.

SPL Election Nov 16 2009 : SPL Elections took place on Monday, November 16th, 2009. Recently, the Troop decided to amend the process for SPL Leadership elections. Now, boys will run for the SPL position one term ahead of when they would officially take office. During the interim, they will serve in the capacity of an Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, being mentored by the current SPL. This will give them the opportunity to learn all about the process and procedures before taking office. This will also facilitate a smooth transition in leadership from one SPL to the next.

2009 Northern Tier : Northern Tier Trip July 10-15, 2009 Charles Sommers Wilderness Canoe Base Kevin and Ryan Hollenshead went to Northern Tier with a group from Troop 191 in Lake Dallas and 2 boys from Troop 45 in Brainerd, Minnesota. The group went on a 5 day/4 night canoeing trip in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in far northern Minnesota/southern Canada.
